Jumps
Tandem Freefall
This is the most popular method to introduce first time skydivers into the sport of skydiving. After you climb to an altitude of 10,000 feet or more, you will jump securely harnessed to your tandem instructor. You will freefall for 30-50 seconds, depending on weight and altitude together. Once under canopy, you will have a 5-10 minute scenic parachute flight over Central Maine back to the landing area. Of course, we offer complete video services to capture your entire skydiving experience from take-off to landing. Training for the tandem freefall skydive generally takes less than 30 minutes.
Static Line Skydive
Static line training is a tested and proven method for training skydivers. You will jump by yourself your very first time from an altitude of 3500 feet above the ground. You will be aided by an instructor in the plane and exit, and your parachute is then opened by a static line attached directly to the airplane. Your parachute opens in just seconds and you're flying your square “ram air” parachute through the sky. It’s very maneuverable and fun to fly. You will be aided by an instructor on the ground talking to you through a radio headset. The scenic parachute ride should last 5 minutes. It’s a view you will remember forever. Our program teaches you everything you need to know to make a safe skydive by yourself. The training takes approximately 6 hours.
